Stanford university trying to tell us that CO2 is bad for plant life ⁉️
We truly are living in the age of collective eco-insanity.
Though not surprising coming out of the University that is home to infamous population freak Paul Ehrlich and housed the now deceased 1970’s ‘global cooling’ alarmist then ‘global warming’ alarmist Stephen Schneider.
This latest dose of taxpayer funded junk science is yet another example of why I am a devout climate change sceptic.
More on Ehrlich and Schneider here:
• Stanford Universities Paul Ehrlich wanted to poison black Africans to fight Climate Change.
• Stanford Universities Stephen Schneider went from ‘cooling’ alarmist to ‘warming alarmist in just four years.
The media are reporting stories with a new theme: More CO2 is bad for plant life. This flies in the face of biochemistry, but the activist motivation is clear: They want people thinking CO2 is bad in every way. They don’t want the warming scare undermined by the idea that CO2 along with warming actually helps plant life and agriculture.
The current stories are coming from researchers involved with an outdoor laboratory site called Jasper Ridge, affiliated with Stanford University, my alma mater and home to famous alarmist Stephen Schneider (deceased). The headlines are occasioned by a new paper appearing Sept. 5 in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, authored by Chris Field, director of the Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment..
Headlines Claim, Details Deny
Headlines and claims like those below are appearing this week, but as we shall see, the details do not support the conclusions…

What other climate news does the New York Times blatantly lie about in order to advance their global warming agenda?
The New York Times is lying about climate yet again, claiming that last year was a record fire year at 10.1 million acres and it was due to climate.
The level of fraud is off-scale. The New York Times reported in 1938 that more than twice that many acres burned in 1937. Why didn’t Matt Richtel and Fernanda Santos research their own paper?
The US Forest Service reported that five times as many acres burned in the early 1930’s
But their fraud gets much worse. When CO2 was at pre-industrial levels, forest burned almost fifteen times as much land in the US.
Outside of Alaska and California, last year was not a big fire year. The Rocky Mountains were…

Need another indicator of climate warming in Antarctica? The trio of weather bloggers at Weather Underground report the temperature there likely hit a record-breaking 63.5F (17.5C) Tuesday.
The balmy reading was logged at Argentina’s Esperanza Base, which lies on the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula.
Irrespective of whether the record stands, it fits right into the pattern of rapid climate warming recently observed in the Antarctic Peninsula region. The British Antarctic Survey writes this region has warmed about 5F (2.8 C) in the last 50 years. “[This] makes this the most rapidly warming region in the Southern Hemisphere – comparable to rapidly warming regions of the Arctic,” it notes.
What a total crock from Jason Samenow at the Capital Weather Gang. Temperatures at the Antarctic Peninsula have been declining for 35 years.

NASA thinks that increasing record high temperatures causes heavy snow.
Other than their obvious stupidity about snow, they are lying about the record high temperatures, which have been declining for 80 years.
As far as record low temperatures go, this year is blowing away all records for a non-volcano year, and is the second year in a row where record lows outnumber record highs.
Climatism comment : Is that the same Barack Obama who has had the fewest US hurricane landfalls (three) of any president, during his five years in office? And this year, the slowest tornado season on record and the second quietist fire season?
Mother nature doesn’t care much for Obama’s climate lies, fear mongering and superstition either.
President Obama is bored with lying about the NSA, Obamacare, Benghazi the IRS, etc. and has turned his attention back to lying about the climate.
Hurricane Flashback: The Great New York Storm of 1821
September 3 marks the 190th anniversary of the Hurricane of 1821, which saw flooding and destruction in the growing metropolis. In less than an hour a thirteen-foot storm surge deluged the city, swallowing everything below Canal Street. The Battery was particularly devastated, docks were destroyed, and ships were swept onto streets. Further uptown, a bridge that connected Harlem to Ward’s Island was washed away and somewhere in Chinatown, the East River likely met the Hudson. “New Yorkers were lucky,” writes Bruce Parker in The Power of the Sea: Tsunamis, Storm Surges, Rogue Waves, and Our Quest to Predict Disasters. “The hurricane hit at low tide.“
By the time Hurricane Sandy veered toward the Northeast coast of the United States last October 29, it had mauled several countries in the Caribbean and left dozens dead. Faced with the largest storm ever spawned over the Atlantic, New York and other cities ordered mandatory evacuations of low-lying areas. Not everyone complied. Those who chose to ride out Sandy got a preview of the future, in which a warmer world will lead to inexorably rising seas.
The largest Atlantic storm ever? Where do they find people to write garbage like that? How big was the 1780 Great Atlantic hurricane which killed 23,000 people? Hurricane Andrew had wind speeds 300% of Sandy.
Sandy’s flooding was a storm surge, not sea level rise. Where do they find people to write garbage like that?
Sea level has been rising for 20,000 years. Most of that time the Earth has been…
