“It is unlikely you will hear any of this from the BBC or their chums in Greenpeace.”

We know that Arctic sea ice extent has been at relatively low levels this past winter. However, most of the deficit has been on the periphery, mainly in the Barents Sea, or way outside the Arctic anyway, areas which would soon melt away anyway.
The natural consequence of this reduced ice coverage is that enormous amounts of heat have been escaping from the oceans during the Arctic winter, a phenomenon that is part of the Earth’s thermostat.
However, largely as a consequence of this low ice extent, the spring melt has been slow to arrive.

It is quite possibly the best ten-minute explanation of the politically correct and culturally twisted world we live in today.
A powerful condemnation of the desperate leftist collective marxist drone psyche (Live Leak) and a brutal exposure of the out-of-touch-with-reality BBC, ergo the rest of the majority Leftist mainstream media.
This stuff is exactly what our kids should be taught in school, especially coming from a ‘Gay’ man in the (Leftist-designed) politically correct, identity-driven times we inhabit.

“Renewables at 23.7% sounds impressive, eh? But craftily, they include hydro, which accounts for two thirds of this figure. Ten years ago hydro was already supplying 16% of the world’s electricity, just the same as it is now…
And that leaves wind and solar, which produce less than 5%.”
Such an insignificant amount of expensive, intermittent and ‘unreliable’ power generation despite Europe, alone, spending literally a €Trillion on wind and solar over the past decade.
Talk about carbon footprints, when each turbine consists of 260T of cement, steal and rare-earth magnets, shipped all the way from eco-friendly China/India.

“Renewable Energy Surges From 2% to 2% Around The World”
By Paul Homewood
Matt McGrath’s latest piece is little more than an advertisement for the renewable industry:
New solar, wind and hydropower sources were added in 2015 at the fastest rate the world has yet seen, a study says.
Investments in renewables during the year were more than double the amount spent on new coal and gas-fired power plants, the Renewables Global Status Report found.
For the first time, emerging economies spent more than the rich on renewable power and fuels.
Over 8 million people are now working in renewable energy worldwide.
For a number of years, the global spend on renewables has been increasing and 2015 saw that arrive at a new peak according to the report.
Falling costs key
About 147 gigawatts (GW) of capacity was added in 2015, roughly equivalent to Africa’s generating capacity from all sources.
China, the US, Japan, UK and India were the…

“I believe it is appropriate to have an ‘over-representation’ of the facts
on how dangerous it is, as a predicate for opening up the audience.”
– Al Gore,
Climate Change activist
2007 marked the high-point of
global warming climate change hysteria. One year before, Al Gore released his Academy Award winning movie “An Inconvenient Truth”.
Inconveniently for Al, by 2007 British High Court judge Michael Burton cited 9 key errors had arisen “in the context of alarmism and exaggeration” in order to support Mr Gore’s thesis on global warming. Judge Burton noted the “apocalyptic vision” presented in the film was politically partisan and thus not an impartial scientific analysis of climate change. It was also ruled, a “political film.”
Al Gore, unfazed by his climate conviction, went on to claim “the entire north polar ice cap during some of the summer months will be completely ice-free within the next five to seven years,”
BBC claimed Arctic summers would be “ice free ‘by 2013′”
National Geographic reported “Arctic Sea Ice Gone in Summer Within Five Years?”
Paul Beckwith of Sierra Club Canada knew, without a shadow of doubt, that “Arctic sea ice will vanish in 2013” …

THE INCONVENIENT ARCTIC TRUTH
There is currently as much Arctic summer sea ice today as there was in 2007 :
If Al Gore, BBC, National Geographic, and environmental groups like the Sierra Club can convey such distortions, what other climate falsehoods are they willing to sell you, to push their
global warming climate change agenda?

As part of their propaganda drive for Paris, the BBC’s “Science” Editor has taken a fossil fuel powered trip to the Arctic, to call in on a fossil fuel powered Norwegian scientific expedition, which is measuring and monitoring Arctic ice.
The expedition ship has been escorted into the ice pack by an icebreaker, the KV Svalbard, which will no doubt help to break up the ice a little bit more!
Changes in the Arctic Ocean are so profound that the region is entering what amounts to “a new era”, according to Norwegian scientists.
A switch from a permanent cover of thick ice to a new state where thinner ice vanishes in the summer will have far-reaching implications, they say.
The Norwegian Polar Institute has been mounting an expedition to the Arctic Ocean during the year’s coldest months.
Scientists have to brave extreme temperatures…

Our leading diplomats, scientists and environmental organizations have promised that the remaining 155,000 Manhattans of Arctic sea ice are going to melt in the next week or two. The graph below updates the most likely death spiral trajectory.
the Arctic will be ice-free in the summer of 2013
– John Kerry, US Secretary of State
James Hansen : ‘This is the last chance’
“We see a tipping point occurring right before our eyes,” Hansen told the AP before the luncheon. “The Arctic is the first tipping point and it’s occurring exactly the way we said it would.”
Hansen, echoing work by other scientists, said that in five to 10 years, the Arctic will be free…
