HUNDREDS of scrawny, starving, emaciated polar bears making a mockery of the Gorebal Warming alarmist industry!
Are the hundreds of polar bears spending the summer on Wrangel Island in the Chukchi Sea starving and desperate for any scrap of food? Hardly! Photos taken by Russian tourists on a cruise ship (19 September 2017) show a huge number of already-fat, healthy bears converging on a dead bowhead whale washed up on a beach. Most of these bears would have been without food since at least early August, when the last sea ice disappeared around the island, and will return to the ice by November.
The extraordinary sight was witnessed by tourists on an Arctic cruise aboard the Finnish-built MV Akademik Shokalskiy.
A source at Wrangel Island Nature Reserve said: “There were at least 230 polar bears, including single males, single females, mothers with cubs and even two mothers…

THE last major hurricane before Harvey and Irma to make landfall on the Continental United States was Wilma in 2005, striking one year before Twitter was invented (2006) and two years before the first iPhone was sold (2007).
SINCE 2005, the U.S experienced a record 12 year drought of major landfall U.S hurricanes. The 4,324 day record was finally broken by Harvey which made landfall in Texas as a CAT 4 hurricane on August 25.
AS a guide, the average peak season for the Atlantic hurricane season as stipulated by NOAA (2001) :
AS happens every time a large natural weather catastrophe strikes, the media is filled with assertions that the calamity’s magnitude is attributable to
global warming climate change :
THE best available, peer-reviewed Hurricane and Cyclone data refutes any correlation between increased CO2/temperature and an increase in extreme weather events. However, the climate crisis industry never lets a good storm go to waste. After all, far too many reputations, jobs, money and superstitions are now at stake.
TWITTER provides a wealth of life-saving information and real-time updates for those directly affected by extreme weather events. It also acts as a platform for interesting and often humorous, data-based retorts to combat the litany of alarmist rhetoric spewed by climate ambulance chasers and global warming alarmist trolls…
HERE’S a sample taken from the lives of Irma and Harvey :

“In such cases, attributing today’s extreme weather to “climate change” regardless of what happens (maybe droughts, maybe floods) is what the philosopher Karl Popper called “pseudoscience.” If some theory explains everything, it can’t be tested and it is therefore not science.”
EXPLAINS all of the alarmist, goal-post shifting ‘science’ that is pontificated by the climate change cult to prove their flimsy eco-religion.
EXCELLENT, fact-riddled read from Cato…
By Paul Homewood
A welcome dose of reality from Cato:
“Harvey Is What Climate Change Looks Like: It’s time to open our eyes and prepare for the world that’s coming.” That August 28 Politico article by Slate weatherman Eric Holthaus was one of many trying too hard to blame the hurricane and/or flood on climate change.
Such stories are typically infused with smug arrogance. Their authors claim to be wise and well-informed, and anyone who dares to question their “settled science” must need to have their eyes pried open and their mouths shut.
There will doubtless be similar “retroactive forecasting” tales about Irma, so recent story-telling about Harvey may provide a precautionary warning for the unwary.
I am an economist, not a climatologist.* But blaming Harvey on climate change apparently demands much lower standards of logic and evidence than economists would dare describe as serious arguments.

CLIMATE scientist Roy Spencer PhD busts apart Al Gore’s latest hollywood fail, in a few simple examples below, from his new book An Inconvenient Deception: How Al Gore Distorts Climate Science and Energy Policy, now available on Amazon.com …
After viewing Gore’s most recent movie, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power, and after reading the book version of the movie, I was more than a little astounded. The new movie and book are chock-full of bad science, bad policy, and factual errors.
So, I was inspired to do something about it. I’d like to announce my new e-book, entitled An Inconvenient Deception: How Al Gore Distorts Climate Science and Energy Policy, now available on Amazon.com.
One of Gore’s favorite tactics is to show something that happens naturally, then claim (or have you infer) that it is due to humanity’s greenhouse gas emissions. As I discuss in the book, this is what he did in his first movie (An Inconvenient Truth), too.
For example, sea level rise. Gore is seen surveying flooded streets in Miami Beach.
That flooding is mostly a combination of (1) natural sea level rise (I show there has been no acceleration of sea level rise beyond what was already happening since the 1800s), and (2) satellite-measured sinking of the reclaimed swamps that have been built upon for over 100 years in Miami Beach.
In other words, Miami Beach was going to have to deal with the increasing flooding from their “king tides”, with or without carbon dioxide emissions.
Gore is also shown jumping across meltwater streams on the Greenland ice sheet. No mention is made that this happens naturally every year. Sure, 2012 was exceptional for its warmth and snow melt (which he mentioned), but then 2017 came along and did just the opposite with record snow accumulation, little melt, and the coldest temperature ever recorded in the Northern Hemisphere for a July.
The fact that receding glaciers in Alaska are revealing stumps from ancient forests that grew 1,000 to 2,000 years ago proves that climate varies naturally, and glaciers advance and recede without any help from humans.
So, why is your SUV suddenly being blamed when it happens today?
The list goes on and on.
Some of what Gore claims is just outright false. He says that wheat and corn yields in China are down by 5% in recent decades. Wrong. They have been steadily climbing, just like almost everywhere else in the world. Here’s the situation for all grain crops in China:
And that lack of rainfall in Syria that supposedly caused conflict and war? It didn’t happen. Poor farmers could no longer afford diesel fuel to pump groundwater because Assad tripled the price. Semi-arid Syria is no place to grow enough crops for a rapidly growing population, anyway.
I also address Gore’s views on alternative energy, mainly wind and solar. It is obvious that Gore does not consider government subsidies when he talks about the “cost” of renewable energy sometimes being cheaper than fossil fuels. Apparently, he hasn’t heard that the citizens pay the taxes that then support the alternative energy industries which Gore, Elon Musk and others financially benefit from. If and when renewable energy become cost-competitive, it won’t need politicians and pundits like Mr. Gore campaigning for it.
To counter what is in movie theaters now, I had to whip up this book in only 2 weeks, and I didn’t have a marching army of well-funded people like Gore has had. (Too bad he didn’t have someone doing fact-checking.) Despite my disadvantage, I think I present a powerful case that most of what he presents is, at the very least, very deceptive.

Excellent post demonstrating the vicious rage emanating from climate change alarmists following the recent *record* drop in global temperatures!
As usual, the Left using the 101 tactic of – “Playing the man (Breitbart/Dellers), rather than the ball (evidence)”.
This is more evidence for mine that “Global Warming” aka “Climate Change” is the ultimate social(ist) issue that plays to many of the Left’s elitist agendas – power, control, money, virtue and misanthropy. After all, shouldn’t “Global Warming” alarmists be celebrating and cheering the *record* drop in global temps?! (albeit expected after a super El Niño).

The Left has far more to fear from demands to criminalise dud claims about global warming:
Thirteen state GOP attorneys general have sent a letter to the Democratic AG’s who are investigating ExxonMobile for fraud in climate change research, telling them that if minimizing the danger of climate change is fraud, so is exaggerating the peril. They threaten to prosecute climate alarmists for making spectacular claims of disaster that have not materialized…
The “cuts both ways” argument was among those raised by 13 Republican attorneys general in a letter urging their Democratic counterparts to stop using their law enforcement power against fossil fuel companies and others that challenge the climate change catastrophe narrative.
“Consider carefully the legal precedent and threat to free speech, said the state prosecutors in their letter this week, headed by Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange.

With UNESCO giving the Reef a clean bill of health in a long-awaited report, the likes of Greenpeace, WWF, GetUp and the Australian Marine Conservation Society have been discredited and should not be permitted to peddle their lies in Queensland. In fact, the green movement’s role in this sorry debacle exposes them as frauds
The UNESCO report accepted that enough has been done by Australia to stop the destruction of the Reef. The trigger for the UNESCO probe was the Port of Gladstone expansion to cater for the boom in coal and coal seam gas exports, featuring the biggest dredging project in Australia’s history. Despite heavy conditions and environmental regulations, the greenies jumped on the issue which allowed them to link coal exports to climate change and the Reef.
For the Queensland tourism industry, the possibility of a UNESCO listing of the Great Barrier Reef as endangered would have had catastrophic implications for the state. It would have sent a message to tourists that the Reef had lost its lustre. But of course, the conservationists don’t have time for the trivialities of an industry worth billions every year to the economy…
The Greens are a major threat to the Queensland economy, fuelled by the Labor Left’s love affair with the movement and its capacity to stop progress…
The Great Barrier Reef tick of approval from UNESCO has exposed the state’s eco-warriors as the kings of deceit and lies. They should not be given a platform for their views because they have proven they are not capable of being honest and candid.

The Greenpeace ad, claiming our Great Barrier Reef is being destroyed:
Even more amazing, Greenpeace had actually used that picture to demonstrate how coral killed by a cyclone could actually grow back. Don’t panic!
Apo Island’s community-managed marine sanctuary is considered one of the best of its kind in the world. Established in the mid1980s, the sanctuary became a beacon of hope that damaged reefs can, with proper protection, management, and community buy-in, be restored back to health. ..
Strong storm surges decimated the corals and washed them ashore. The sanctuary, once known to be teeming with marine life was left devastated and now resembles a coral graveyard. Fortunately the reefs on the other sides of the island were spared. But while the damage to the sanctuary was significant not all was lost because marine life around the island was already healthy…
Apo Island’s success story has always been a model of hope for the Philippine seas.
What a con. Here’s Greenpeace using a dodgy picture to push a dodgy scare about a dodgy warming theory – with the result that it’s likely to drive away tourists.
It’s also pretending nothing is being doing to “save” the Reef, when in fact more than $2 billion of taxpayers’ money is being spent over the next decade to protect it.
Has Greenpeace no shame?
Greens kill the reef
Global warming alarmists have succeeded in spreading a lie about the Great Barrier Reef:
Col McKenzie, executive officer of the association of the marine park tourism operators, told The Australian that many visitors thought the reef was “dead”.
“Our brand has copped a hiding over the last few years and to a large extent unjustifiably. We have seen a big decrease in the amount of pre-booked and long-term bookings coming out of Europe and America. You talk to those people and they think the reef is dead and, if not, it is so close to being dead that it is simply not worth coming to see. That simply could not be further from the truth,” Mr McKenzie said.
“The green conservation movement … has caned the reputation of the tourism industry.”
No wonder a key to the Abbott Government’s lobbying to keep the Reef off UNESCO’s in-danger list has been to simply get journalists to see for themselves that it’s still there:
The federal government underlined the importance of keeping the reef off the UNESCO “in danger” list after it was revealed it spent $100,000 lobbying almost all of the World Heritage Committee to convince them the reef was not in danger. It also spent $88,000 on a junket for international journalists as part of a wider lobbying campaign.
Once again we must ask: if man-made global warming is so obvious, why all these lies and exaggerations?
More Greenpeace reef fear-mongering …
London tube ad: “ONLY 4 WEEKS TO SAVE THE REEF !”
GREENPEACE is again accused of false advertising and scaring people into donating to its campaign to save the Great Barrier Reef.
A Greenpeace billboard running on the London Tube includes the message: “If we don’t act now coal companies will be free to dredge in this beautiful natural wonder”.
It asks for donations and could give the impression that miners dredge the World Heritage-listed Reef.
A second emotive advertisement on YouTube features an upset child and mother and the line: “Half the Reef is already gone.’’
Half the Reef’s coral cover has been lost but the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority says corals make up only 7 per cent of the marine park and World Heritage Area. All up, the reserved area covers 344,000 sq km.
Greenpeace has been running a series of brutally effective ads before UNESCO decides at the end of the month if the area will be listed in danger.
Last month a draft decision found the Reef should not be listed but the World Heritage Committee warned Australia it must get fair dinkum about caring for the Reef and report back on its work in 2019.
