Climate experts tell us that the US is experiencing a near unprecedented drought, when in fact it is the exact opposite. US drought coverage is near historic lows.

Brilliant analysis Tony Heller aka Steve Goddard.
And, not to mention that a homeless encampment cooking fire was responsible for the latest Bel Air fire. Yet, California’s “climate ambulance chaser” in chief, governor Jerry Brown instead blamed “climate change” as a “new normal” … apparently an easier problem to address than the state’s chronic homelessness.
In this video, author and scientist Tony Heller brilliantly debunks ambulance chasing climate scientists who come out of the woodwork every time there is a natural disaster, like wildfires in California. In fact, burn acreage in the US has plummeted over the past 85 years, as CO2 has increased.
“Climate scientists regularly embarrass themselves with “end of snow” predictions, because they are an inevitable consequence of the “projections” (don’t say predictions) of their runaway climate models.”
Dr David Viner of CRU should have taught the climate catastrophists a lesson or three. Although, that was back in 2000. Short memories them climate “scientists”, perhaps ?!

UCLA thinks that by the end of the century, Climate will reduce the Sierra Nevada snowpack by 85%.
Climate change puts California’s snowpack in jeopardy in future droughts
UCLA research shows how warming trends affect the Sierra Nevada now and in the future

Skiing in July? It could happen this year, but California’s days of bountiful snow are numbered.
After five years of drought and water restrictions, the state is reeling from its wettest winter in two decades. Moisture-laden storms have turned brown hillsides a lush green and state reservoirs are overflowing. There’s so much snow, Mammoth Mountain resort plans to be open for business on Fourth of July weekend.
The Sierra Nevada snowpack, which provides 60 percent of the state’s water via a vast network of dams and reservoirs, has already been diminished by human-induced climate change…

The eco-militant EPA’s own figures note that slashing America’s CO2 emissions, will prevent less than 0.03 degrees Fahrenheit of global warming 85 years from now!
All that pain – destroying jobs and impairing human welfare – for such little gain!
Virtue-signalling politicians “riding their eco-friendly flying pigs” – a far more dangerous threat to life on earth than any minuscule and arguably beneficial, ‘global warming’ could ever be!
Eco-insanity on stilts.

h/t Breitbart; California has committed to moving forward with its job destroying climate policies, regardless of vocal complaints from business leaders.
California, at Forefront of Climate Fight, Won’t Back Down to Trump
“California can make a significant contribution to advancing the cause of dealing with climate change, irrespective of what goes on in Washington,” Mr. Brown said in an interview. “I wouldn’t underestimate California’s resolve if everything moves in this extreme climate denial direction. Yes, we will take action.”
When California enacted its climate reduction standards last year, it drew fierce criticism from state business leaders.
The bills “impose very severe caps on the emission of greenhouse gases in California, without requiring the regulatory agencies to give any consideration to the impacts on our economy, disruptions in everyone’s daily lives or the fact…

If greens love nature, why aren’t they more concerned about carpeting pristine landscapes with industrial wind turbines?
Duane J. Hyland nails this monumental, virtue-signalling hypocrisy…
“Environmentalists” would, in times past, raise the alarm at obstructions being built by the thousands across the land, but today the “Socio-Enviro-Emotionalists” salivate at the site of these rising monsters, believing they are “saving the planet.”
Duane Hyland, 82, of Golden, Colorado is a retired software engineer who, horrified at what the wind industry has done to America’s Mid-West, penned a pretty solid warning to all-comers: “Steal the Wind Reap the Whirlwind.”
Here’s the thrust of Duane’s call to arms.
Wind turbines to ‘mar’ horizon for eternity
South Dakota residents should think carefully before agreeing to give up tax revenue for the privilege of having their landscapes marred by thousands of massive mechanical machines and hundreds of miles of new transmission lines.
I am from Colorado, but I have spent hundreds of hours driving through S.D., while commuting from Denver to southern Minnesota between 2007 and the present.
Rather than traveling east on I-80 and north on I-35, I always chose to travel north on Hwy. 83 from North Platte through the Sand Hills up to…

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) issued a press release today stating that they have signed a deal with PG&E PCG +0.10%, IBEW local 1245, the Coalition of California Utility Employees, Friends of the Earth, Environment California, and the Alliance for Nuclear Responsibility.
There is an implied quid pro quo. The groups will support PG&E’s request for an extension from the California Lands Commission of its land use permit that allows access to ocean cooling water at the Commission’s June 28 meeting. In return, PG&E will agree to withdraw its 20-year license…

“Siemen’s 112 noisy little desert smokers are barely 2 years old, having 70% of them spewing out oil at a rate the Saudis would envy…”
Keep in mind that there are literally hundreds and thousands of these “bat-chomping, bird-slicing, eco-crucifixes.” (Delingpole) worldwide.
With each of these Industrial turbines weighing anywhere between 60-260 tonnes, built of Coking coal, Steel, cement and rare-earth magnets.
‘Clean, Green’ energy they insist!
These days, the spontaneous combustion of wind turbines is an occurrence so common that STT is thinking about opening a sub-branch that deals exclusively with their terrifying pyrotechnic-melt-downs.
Giant fan conflagrations are 10 times more common than the wind industry and its parasites will ever admit (see our post here).
And these unscheduled fireworks shows have the potential of literally setting the world on fire. Overheating bearings and brakes turn 1,000 litres of gear oil, and a couple of hundred litres of hydraulic fluid, plastics etc into an exploding, toxic fireball (see our post here).
As such, these things make the perfect incendiaries: putting the lives of rural residents at risk – not only because bushfires are a mortal threat, but because the presence of paddocks full of these 160m whirling monsters rules out the use of aerial water bombing to douse the flames, and bring raging infernos…

Excellent PMD historical drought comparison via Steven Goddard (Real Science):
Guest essay by Robert Moore
Is it true that we are in the worst drought in California history? Let’s look at the facts for the last 120 years (1895 to present).
As shown in this chart from the Western Regional Climate Center website (http://www.wrcc.dri.edu) — this is not even the 2nd driest water year for California in the last 120 years.
The driest year was 1924 (9.23 inches, or 40% of normal). The current water year (October 2013 through September 2014) ranks as the 3rd driest in the last 120 years (at 52% of normal).
As for the claim that this is the worst multi-year drought in California history – look at the period of 1910-40 on the WRCC chart. Wow… that was really a dry 30 year period.
