China’s North Pole – where record low temperatures plunge to -53C

CO2, locked up, doin’ time with the Uyghur’s. Clearly.

Mohe is known as China’s North Pole for a good reason, says Sky News.

It is the country’s most northern city and is a very, very cold place.

It’s difficult to describe what temperatures this low feel like.

On Sunday it hit -53C, a new low for the coldest temperature recorded in the country since modern monitoring began.

The National Meteorological Centre confirmed the previous record of -52.3C, set in 1969, had been beaten.

World Energy Wake Up Call

“To get the same amount of energy from solar and wind that we now get from fossil fuels, we’re going to have to massively increase mining.

By more than 1000%.

This isn’t speculation. This is physics.”

This post is well worth your time, either through viewing the video presentation, or for a more devastating effect, via the transcript.

How an ideology can take such a fervent foothold and do so much damage to civilisation, at rapid pace, is perhaps, an inferior question to how the physics of UNreliables were/are so casually overlooked as to render current civilisation, inoperable.

Mind-boggling.

Science Matters

Are we heading toward an all-renewable energy future, spearheaded by wind and solar? Or are those energy sources wholly inadequate for the task? Mark Mills, Senior Fellow at the Manhattan Institute and author of The Cloud Revolution, compares the energy dream to the energy reality. How Much Energy Will the World Need?

Video Transcript

We’re headed toward an exciting all-renewable energy future. Wind and solar will power the world of tomorrow.

And tomorrow isn’t far off!……..

…It’s time to wake up.

You’re having a dream.

Here’s the reality.

Oil, natural gas, and coal provide 84% of all the world’s energy. That’s down just two percentage points from twenty years ago.

And oil still powers nearly 97% of all global transportation.

Contrary to headlines claiming that we’re rapidly transitioning away from fossil fuels, it’s just not happening. Two decades and five trillion dollars of governments “investing” in green energy and we’ve…

Expert discusses La Niña and El Niño cycles effects on Australia

“What do the climate models tell us?”

Everything that we want them to… chaos, calamity, extremity!

/sigh.

Tallbloke's Talkshop

The last El Niño was 6-7 years ago, but elapsed time can’t on its own be a guarantee of one this year. Neutral ENSO conditions are another option. As usual an assertion about warming from greenhouse gases is thrown in, with no evidence to back it up.

Climate models indicate La Niña is on the way out, with El Niño conditions expected later this year, claims Phys.org.

CSIRO Climate Scientist Dr. Wenju Cai explains what this means for Australia’s weather and how changing conditions will affect the country.

Is La Niña really on the way out? What do the climate models tell us?

We are in the mature season of the current three-consecutive La Niña years. During the three years, heat has been stored in the equatorial Pacific Ocean.

Democrats’ Gasophobia Will Kill Americans

Sadly, all by design.

PA Pundits International

By Deroy Murdock ~

The just-departed polar vortex confirmed that when Mother Nature is enraged, it’s wise to have options. Maddeningly, today’s “pro-choice” Democrats want Americans to have one energy choice.

Neo-totalitarian, left-wing eco-extremists are banning new natural gas access in scores of locales. If not reversed, this cruel, stupid, needless policy will kill Americans.

If the gasophobes prevail, millions more Americans will have electricity but no natural gas. Pictured: President Joe Biden speaks June 22 at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building on his administration’s efforts to lower high gasoline prices. (Photo: Jim Watson/AFP/Getty Images)

The Christmastime deep freeze that transformed much of the U.S. into the North Pole illustrates the deadly folly of forcing citizens to rely solely on an increasingly fragile electric grid (Plan A) while blocking natural gas as a secondary energy source (Plan B).

“The root cause of our grid’s reliability problems is simple,” explains “Fossil Future” author Alex Epstein. “America is shutting down
