NSIDC Caught Cooking The Books

Read this to see government climate data manipulation and misinformation in action.

“Disgracefully, NSIDC have now deleted the archives for all of the older style maps.”

“Just like NOAA and GISS, it is evident that we can no longer trust anything coming out of NSIDC.”

Another example of why – tragically – government funded organisations have become almost the last places to hear the truth about climate change.

Tony Heller has a couple of posts up at Real Science, which seem to expose some extremely dodgy behaviour on the part of NSIDC.

The Hottest Year Ever

Real Science

Experts tell us that 2015 was the hottest year ever™, despite the fact that there was very little hot weather.

Wood for Trees: Interactive Graphs

During July, 1936 afternoon temperatures at Fairfield, Iowa averaged 19F hotter than 2015. Every single July day in 1936 was hotter than 2015 (the hottest year ever™ .)

It was by far the longest heatwave at Fairfield.

Fairfield had a total of 20 days over 100 degrees during July, 1936.

They set their all-time temperature record of 114 degrees during July, 1936.

FAIRFIELD_IA_HottestDailyMaximumTemperature_Jul_Jul_1850_2015 The “hottest year ever™” doesn’t seem to have anything to do with actual hot weather, but lots to do with hot air ahead of  the Paris Climate Fraud Summit.

NASA – Doubling Sea Level Rise By Data Tampering

Gavin Schmidt’s NASA adjusting climate data to fit its government (taxpayer) funded, Mann-made global warming narrative? shock news.

Real Science

NASA has doubled 1880 to 1980 sea level rise since Hansen 1983. In 1983, NASA showed very little sea level rise after 1950. Now they show rapid sea level rise from 1950 to 1980.

This fraud should not surprise anyone, because they have also doubled global warming via data tampering during that same time period.

The Solar Plane – a Perfect Metaphor for What is Wrong With Renewables

Wind / Solar base-load energy (Unreliables) – quite literally ‘pie in the sky’ technology.

Watts Up With That?

Guest essay by Eric Worrall

The Solar Impulse 2 has finally completedcompleted the latest leg of its round the world flight. In engineering terms, a round the world flight using solar power is a remarkable achievement. But the difficulty of achieving this feat showcases why solar energy will never be a viable replacement for fossil fuels.

An experimental plane flying around the world without a single drop of fuel landed in California after a two-and-a-half day flight across the Pacific.

Piloted by Swiss explorer and psychiatrist Bertrand Piccard, Solar Impulse 2 touched down in Mountain View just before midnight (3 a.m. ET).

“It’s a new era. It’s not science fiction. It’s today,” Piccard told CNN from California after his successful voyage. “It exists and clean technologies can do the impossible.”

Jim O’Donnell: the Great Wind Power Fraud is a Rich Man’s Game & the Poor End Up Paying

Climate change alarmism is big business for billionaire Buffet. But he doesn’t believe in it:

Warren Buffett: “The public has the impression, because there has been so much talk about climate, that the events of the last ten years have been unusual…they haven’t!
We’ve been remarkably free of hurricanes in the last five years. If you’ve been writing hurricane insurance it’s been all profit.”

Warren Buffett: “I love apocalyptic predictions, because … they probably do affect rates…”

Warren Buffett: “we get a tax credit if we build a lot of wind farms. That’s the only reason to build them.”

warren-buffett The poor get the “picture”, while Warren Buffett just gets richer.

The following talk by Jim O’Donnell, Professor Emeritus of Business and Economics, Huntington University, was given to the Huntington County Planning Commission.

Local Business & Economics Professor Urges Huntington County Plan Commission to Not Allow Wind Farms

I’m speaking tonight as an adopted son of Huntington Co. But as that adopted son, I have struggled to understand why my chosen homeland would develop wind energy in the southeast part of the county.

I guess it’s for the tax revenue, the few jobs that will come with it, and the lease payments to the several farmers who will permit turbines on their land. But as an investor and economist, I feel a little like the auto mechanic who’s being shown a car that a good customer wants to buy…

Inconvenient Study: CO2 fertilization greening the earth

The CSIRO did a similar study on CO2 greening the planet, then attempted hide it.

CSIRO Censoring Their Own Climate Research https://climatism.wordpress.com/2015/03/25/csiro-censoring-their-own-climate-research/

Watts Up With That?

International team reports CO2 fertilization prompted plants and trees to sprout extra green leaves equivalent in area to two times the continental USA, or nearly 4.4 billion General Shermans (largest giant Sequoia tree)

BOSTON — An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries has just published a study titled “Greening of the Earth and its Drivers” in the journal Nature Climate Change showing significant greening of a quarter to one-half of the Earth’s vegetated lands using data from the NASA-MODIS and NOAA-AVHRR satellite sensors of the past 33 years. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees. Green leaves produce sugars using energy in the sunlight to mix carbon dioxide (CO2) drawn in from the air with water and nutrients…
