Want to Destroy Your Economy? Then Follow the World’s Wind Powered Leaders: Germany & South Australia

Spread this far and wide to warn others of the destructive and devastating realities of Industrial Wind Power to economies and indeed the environment – flora and fauna.

German power prices

As any student of that dismal science will tell you: for businesses, input costs matter. While wind-cultists claim that their beloveds wouldn’t hurt a fly, let alone wreck whole industries, the reality is a long way removed from eco-fascist fantasy. Jack up power prices and, all things equal, an energy hungry firm’s profits must fall and, along with profits, employment must fall too.

South Australia, Australia’s ‘Wind Power Capital’ has seen power prices rocket (the forward price, at $90 per MWh is more than double its neighbour Victoria’s) and unemployment with it: worse is yet to come, on both scores. Then there’s the grid instability and state-wide blackouts that come with routine, total and totally unpredictable wind power output collapses.

One of its power hungry businesses, Whyalla’s Arrium Steel Works has just been placed into administration, with 3,000 jobs under immediate threat, in a town that will become…

4ft of Global Warming Cancels Denver Cannabis Rally

With all that “thing of the past” (snow), children just aren’t going to know what pot is!

How paradoxically unprogressive of Gaia to rain snow on their parade!

h/t Twitchy – A large public event, a celebration of Cannabis culture, was cancelled in Denver on Sunday, because of heavy snowfall. According to Twitchy, the organisers apparently don’t want to refund the cash they’ve collected, but will honour event tickets at a new date to be announced, after the snow melts.

The Denver 420 Rally leadership team announced that today’s 420 Rally in Civic Center Park will be rescheduled due to weather and circumstances beyond its control. Civic Center Park will be closed to the public today. The new concert date and additional information will be released on http://www.420Rally.com in the near future.

I’m sure our hearts go out to Denver’s Cannabis community.

But this tragic cancellation leaves an important unanswered question – what is the most effective way to help…

New York Times Caught Lying – Yet Again

What other climate news does the New York Times blatantly lie about in order to advance their global warming agenda?

Real Science

The New York Times is lying about climate yet again, claiming that last year was a record fire year at 10.1 million acres and it was due to climate.

Wildfires, Once Confined to a Season, Burn Earlier and Longer – The New York Times

The level of fraud is off-scale. The New York Times reported in 1938 that more than twice that many acres burned in 1937. Why didn’t Matt Richtel and Fernanda Santos research their own paper?

October 9, 1938 – NYTimes

The US Forest Service reported that five times as many acres burned in the early 1930’s

Indicator 3.16: Area and percent of forest affected by abiotic agents

But their fraud gets much worse. When CO2 was at pre-industrial levels, forest burned almost fifteen times as much land in the US.

Outside of Alaska and California, last year was not a big fire year. The Rocky Mountains were…

A Climategate-like bombshell: State Attorney Generals colluded with Green groups to punish political opponents

Watts Up With That?

Guest essay by Chris Horner

Emails obtained by the Energy & Environment Legal Institute (E&E Legal) show that the offices of New York Democratic Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and those of other politically aligned AGs, secretly teamed up with anti-fossil fuel activists to launch investigations against groups whose political speech challenged the global warming policy agenda.

These emails, obtained under open records laws, shed light on what followed after a January meeting, reported by the Wall Street Journalon April 14, in which groups funded by anti-fossil fuel Rockefeller interests met to urge just this sort of investigation and litigation against political opponents.

Recently, after the think tank the Competitive Enterprise Institute (CEI) criticized the AGs’ intimidation campaign, U.S. Virgin Islands Attorney General Claude Earl Walker — one of the AGs  working with Schneiderman — subpoenaed ten years of the non-profit organization’s records relating to climate change.

The latest email…
