Shock News : Industrial Wind Is A Fraud Of Enormous Consequence

We’ve got to ride this global warming issue.
Even if the theory of global warming is wrong,
we will be doing the right thing in terms of
economic and environmental policy.

Timothy Wirth,
President of the UN Foundation

Isn’t the only hope for the planet that the
industrialized civilizations collapse?
Isn’t it our responsiblity to bring that about
?”
Maurice Strong,
founder of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP)

It doesn’t matter what is true,
it only matters what people believe is true

Paul Watson,
co-founder of Greenpeace

Industrial wind turbines: Societally destructive ‘saviour’ or Folly of the fan

Dr. Alan C Watts OAM – September 12, 2012 * Opinion

There is immense contradiction in supporting the concept of minimising the human footprint on the earth while endorsing the destructive intrusiveness of physically massive, feckless energy wind projects. Wind industry propaganda flatters the gullible, exploits the well-intentioned, and nurtures the craven.

The advent of massive industrial wind factories into rural Australia precipitates increasing national incivility. They pit neighbour against neighbour and rent the very fabric of our once strong rural families, thereby destroying our social harmony and well-being.

They plunder our environment while enriching foreigners all under the guise of some mythical societal benefit. They take our health, our land, our peace of mind and our taxes. We surrender our precious mountains to this most gross industry. And in return they give us social chaos, environmental destruction, lies, deceit, scorn, ill-health, football jumpers and a fire truck.

What price! What price we pay.

The major duty of government diligence via its planning instrumentalities, codes of conduct and ministerial control is to anticipate, eliminate or mitigate this kind of societal disruption.

Those who endorse or profit from placing such industrial complexes near the homes of others have no inclination to safeguard or foster a civil and healthy society.

There is immense contradiction in supporting the concept of minimising the human footprint on the earth while endorsing the destructive intrusiveness of physically massive, feckless energy wind projects.

Wind industry propaganda flatters the gullible, exploits the well-intentioned, and nurtures the craven.

Industrial wind is a fraud of enormous consequence whose foundation is based on greed, ignorance, subsidy and entrenched institutional deceit. People who value intellectual honesty should not allow themselves to be quietly fleeced by such industrial treachery or even by their government’s callous ignorance and indifference. It represents not only poor science and wasteful economics but is ignorance in defiance of truth and indifference to the welfare of Australian rural families.

A must watch – Greening the Planet – Dr. Matt Ridley

Watts Up With That?

I met Matt Ridley for the first time in person last month on his trip through California. We shared lunch in Novato on a Saturday, it was a pleasant and enlightening conversation. Dr. Ridley “gets it”; he gets what climate skepticism is all about, and gets what I am about. I’m honored to count him among my friends.

He has this new video out, from his next stop after visiting with me, please take a moment to watch, and more importantly, to share. Ridley’s message is simple – through our own activities, we are making the world a better, greener place.

IPCC Summary: The Real Story

Big Picture News, Informed Analysis

Media outlets remain oblivious to the IPCC’s tainted-by-activism personnel.

activist_IPCC_chapter_heads

Over the weekend, mainstream media outlets published news stories regarding the recent leak of an Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) summary document.

After reading this document, the New York Times declared that “scientists have found” that climate change “will pose sharp risks to the world’s food supply.”

In Germany, Der Spiegel also emphasized the food angle. The Associated Press, meanwhile, advised that a “scientific report forecasts” that “starvation, poverty, flooding, heat waves, droughts, war and disease” will be exacerbated by climate change.

When I looked at this summary, however, it wasn’t the IPCC’s prose that caught my attention. It was the less obvious, subterranean story beneath the surface.

Hundreds of people helped write the 30 chapters in the Working Group 2 section of the IPCC’s new report. From those hundreds of people, 71 individuals were selected to work on this…
