So Much For Global Warming

We’ve got to ride this global warming issue.
Even if the theory of global warming is wrong,
we will be doing the right thing in terms of
economic and environmental policy.

– Timothy Wirth,
President of the UN Foundation

No matter if the science of global warming is all phony…
climate change provides the greatest opportunity to
bring about justice and equality in the world
.”
Christine Stewart,
former Canadian Minister of the Environment

The only way to get our society to truly change is to
frighten people with the possibility of a catastrophe
.”

The government is urging people to use their heating this winter as part of its plan to prevent some of the thousands of avoidable deaths that occur each year as a result of cold weather.

The official cold weather plan for England says people should keep their homes warm, with living room temperatures of 21C (70F) and bedrooms and the rest of the house heated to 18C (65F). It says temperatures above this may waste money but below may risk your health.

If people are unable to afford to heat all their rooms, they should heat their living room during the day and bedrooms just before going to bed.

The plan was published by Public Health England (PHE) in collaboration with the Department of Health, NHS England and the Local Government Association (LGA).

It says there are too many avoidable deaths each winter, with just over 24,000 each year in England and Wales. The “causes are complex, interlinked with fuel poverty, poor housing and health inequalities, as well as circulating infectious diseases, particularly flu and norovirus, and the extent of snow and ice,” it added.

Keep homes heated to prevent winter deaths, government advises – The Guardian

Moral of the story ~ Always remember to crank up your heating when (heat trapping) CO² is at “unprecedented” levels, in order not to freeze to death.

The Very High Price Of NOAA/NASA Data Tampering

Climatism comment : Please see : Real Science Fraud File | CACA

Real Science

NOAA and NASA do spectacular amounts of tampering to the US temperature data set, which actually reverses the measured trend. This comes at a very high price.

  1. The history of the country is destroyed
  2. Bad policy is implemented as a result
  3. Children’s educations are wrecked by feeding them intellectual garbage
  4. The economy is damaged by taxes and destructive policies to restrict CO2
  5. Science itself is wrecked. People attempting to interpret the data are trying to draw conclusions based on garbage data. Thus their conclusions are also garbage.

Amazing how a small handful of unscrupulous people can wreak so much havoc.

The carbon corruption: Iran, Sudan, and North Korea get millions in U.N. carbon credit funds

Climatism comment : So we place economic sanctions on Iran, North Korea et al, on one hand, and then give it all back on the other through millions, perhaps billions in carbon credit funds. At the same time making them look ‘environmentally’ and socially good?!
Everything falling into place nicely for the UN’s wealth redistribution agenda (21).

Watts Up With That?

From the Washington Free Beacon by Zach Noble, how a half page of the Kyoto protocol turned into a free ride for corruption.

Carbon Corruption

Iran, North Korea, Sudan rack up millions by trading U.N. carbon credits

The U.N. is funneling millions of dollars worth of tradable carbon credits to corrupt nations worldwide, including Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Uzbekistan in an attempt to encourage clean energy projects in the developing world.

The U.N. Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) is defined in Article 12 of the Kyoto Protocol. Western European countries fund energy projects in the developing world in order to obtain Certified Emission Reduction credits (CERs), tradable credits that enable Europeans to count foreign emission reductions towards their own domestic emission reduction targets.

Getting very close to meeting Santer’s 17 year warming test

JohnWho says:

Well, while we have gone almost 17 years without any statistically significant warming, we have had climate change and it is climate change that threatens all of us.

RSS: no global warming for 16 years 11 months

By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley

The RSS monthly satellite global mean surface temperature anomaly data, delayed by the US Government shutdown, are now available. The data show no global warming at all for 16 years 11 months. This dataset could be the first of the five to pass the strict Santer test: no global warming at all for 17 years.

Since no el Niño is now expected until next spring at the earliest, the long run without any global warming at all is likely to continue for another few months.

A new record: the most sea ice in Antarctica in 30 years by extent and by volume

Climatism comment : Meanwhile up in the CO² ravaged Northern Hemisphere ~ “Five Of The Six Snowiest Winters Have Occurred Since David Viner Declared The End Of Snow”

But no need to get all denialist about it, the IPCC assures us that they have located the missing heat at the bottom of the oceans.

Watts Up With That?

Translated by Google from this press release in German at the Alfred Wegener Institute in Germany:

Never so much sea ice at Antarctica in the last 30 years

In light of global warming, it seems paradoxical that the sea ice cover of the Southern Ocean has covered a larger area in the past month than in the last decades. Only in the mid-70s was observed a similar expansion.

Average sea ice extent in September (1973-2013) with trend line
Seasonal variability of sea ice extent (as at 13.10.2013)

The means were 19.48 million in September 2013 square kilometers, an area once covered more than 50 times larger than Germany with sea ice. The absolute maximum of 19.65 million square kilometers was reached on 18 of September. Although this maximum in the ice-covered surface can not be equated with a maximum of the total volume or mass, suggest that sea ice physicist…
